Early this morning, Acer officially announced a new device to the Iconia Tab A500 line-up. Unveiling the Olympic Games Edition, this new model shares plenty of the same attributes as the tablets in its lineage, save for a couple of alterations to help support and promote the summer Olympics.

Specifically, there will be an Olympics logo on the back of the device. If that’s not enough to draw your attention, then perhaps the stock Android experience Acer promises in their press release. You’ll still be getting Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 quad-core processor under the hood. So if you’re a fan of the Olympics, maybe a new tablet is the way to show it off.
