Incipio Den Nylon sleeve reviewThe Incipio Den is a cozy, quilted nylon sleeve built for 7-inch tablets, including the Amazon Kindle Fire HD and the Nexus 7. The soft inner lining and thick padding will make you wish you could stay as warm and dry in the winter as your tablet. The zipper lines two sides of the sleeve and is thickly stitched, ensuring security and ease of access. White, black and dark grey options are available, which might not be enough variety for those that are looking for color. The two zipper tabs are bright for visibility, and chunky enough that you could easily handle them while wearing gloves, though. The soft inner-lining feels downright luxurious. You could seriously just rub this thing against your face for a solid twenty minutes, smiling contentedly. There’s enough padding on the two large faces to protect against everyday impacts, though I'm not sure that it's an adequate replacement for a proper case. |

Braven 625s vs Jawbone Jambox: Bluetooth speakers face-offBluetooth-enabled wireless speakers are increasingly popular, as more and more people come to appreciate the convenience and quality of these portable audio systems. At the top of the scale, manufacturers such as Braven, Jawbone, and most recently Beats (with their Dr Dre approved Pill speakers) are competing for the attention of potential buyers. We’ve recently reviewed the Braven 625s portable speakers, and we were impressed by their sound quality, great build, and features. Now, we will bring you a video comparison between the Braven 625s and one of its direct competitors, the Jawbone Jambox. Launched in 2011, the Jawbone Jambox has been garnering good reviews, but how will it do against the more outdoors-oriented Braven 625s? We have a great video review from our man Clayton, but before that, let’s go through the main features of the Braven 625s and the Jawbone Jambox. |

Braven 625S portable speakers reviewThe market for Bluetooth-enabled portable speakers is booming, with a slew of manufacturers competing for the hearts and wallets of music lovers. One of the most active players is Braven, a Utah-based manufacturer that distinguished itself through its range of outdoors-ready portable speakers. Today, we bring you our review of the Braven 625s, a feisty little speaker that promises to rock your world, wherever you are, all while acting as a power bank and a flashlight (yes, you read that right.) As you can see in the video review, the unit is wrapped in sturdy rubber, with the speakers themselves safely tucked behind two grills of stainless steel. We didn’t put it to the test, but we are pretty confident that the Braven 625s will withstand common drops and bumps without nary a scratch. |

Jawbone Jambox reviewThe Jawbone Jambox is a popular stand-alone Bluetooth speaker with sharp style, heavy bass, and relatively rich app environment. Audio from the jawbone Jambox is pretty solid, and especially heavy on the bass. I didn't have any issues with distortion, even at higher volumes, The lack of hardware playback controls, like pause and play, is a pretty serious downer. The Big Jambox has the full selection of hardware buttons, but costs an extra hundred bucks. The Jawbone Jambox lists 10 hours of playtime thanks to its internal battery, which lines up with my experience. Charging doesn't take long over microUSB, especially if you have a spare charger with high voltage. The Jambox can also be used for phone calls thanks to the built-in microphone. Voice dialing is activated by holding down the circular button on top, redialling the last number can be done by double tapping it, and hang-up/pick-up through single presses. |

iCarpus Universal Smartphone Stand ReviewAfter using the HTC EVO 4G LTE for a while with its wonderful kickstand, and then going to another phone, I found myself reaching for a kickstand that just wasn’t there. I mean, a lot of smartphones have relatively large displays nowadays, yet most of them don’t feature a kickstand. Thankfully, there is an accessory for [...] |

Sony SmartWatch reviewThe Sony SmartWatch is a small clip-on device that connects to your phone over Bluetooth and provides quick access to a variety of notifications, including incoming calls, Facebook messages, upcoming calendar items, and lots more. Some of the more interactive apps include a music handler, a remote phone ringer, and a Google Maps app . Once you’ve installed the Smart Connect app on your device, other Smartwatch compatible apps can be installed and pushed out to the accessory. The selection of quality SmartWatch apps are slim, but there aren’t a lot of alternatives for wearable smartphone accessories out there. |

Logitech UE Boombox And Mobile Boombox Review: Two Impressive Entries In A Crowded MarketBack at IFA 2012, Logitech unveiled its new series of Ultimate Ears accessories. Among those were a couple of portable speakers: the Boombox and Mobile Boombox. I ve spent the last few weeks using both, and have been quite impressed for the most part. Without giving too much away right off the bat, both units sound surprisingly good compared to Logitech s previous Bluetooth speakers (and the competition), and are priced pretty aggressively for the features offered.
Mobile Boombox
The Mobile Boombox is the smaller of the two and is a direct competitor to the Jawbone Jambox. |

Nexus 7 Bamboo Eco-Friendly Case Hands-onProtecting our most loved electronic devices is something almost all of us do. You’ll be hard-pressed to find someone that’s not using a case on their phone or tablet in this day and age. A lot of us like nice looking cases, though. We know that putting a case over our devices isn’t the best-looking ever, so we need a case that protects our phones and tablets that also looks nice. A company on 10Terra is campaigning on Kickstarter to bring its Bamboo cases to the mass public, and it aims to meet these two guidelines. |

Jabra Stone2 Bluetooth headset reviewThe Jabra Stone2 is a slick-looking Bluetooth headset with a portable, pebble-shaped charging dock. The Stone2 follows closely in the design footsteps of its predecessor, leaning towards a subtle, classy, and unique form factor. I was particularly happy with how volume control was handled through a touch-sensitive layer on the face of the headset itself; just glide your finger up or down in order to adjust. Volume on music doesn’t go very high, even with it cranked up all the way on the device, but call volume is excellent. |
